Kudawella prepare their IT room. Jan 2009.
Kudawella School have been preparing their brand new IT room with help from Pete and Laura, Monmouth students. The new computer has been installed and two older machines are currently being updated. They are now awaiting broadband connection, which should be installed the first week of February.
Kudawella have given the honour of officially opening the IT room to Jan Seaborne and Sue Murphy during their visit to the school mid February. BT have kindly donated a webcam and the first video conference is planned using easiCOP on the 24th February. Jan and Sue will join the children of Kudawella and conference back to Gorseland joining in their morning assembly (Fingers crossed!) BT also donated a digital camera, which will enable the children to share pictures through emails and on the websites bringing their projects to life. Both schools are extremely excited about the new facilities and can't wait to use them.
